Availigent
Re-Branding a Software Start-up
The Placemaking Group helped enterprise software company Availigent escape from the shackles of an uninspired name and image—Eternal Systems—that suggested a funeral home, rather than cutting-edge technology. Our process involved:
- Brand architecture to craft a new identity closely aligned with Availigent’s mission of ensuring high availability for the 24 x 7 economy
- New name, logo and identifying phrase – “Intelligent Availability”
- Redesigning the site architecture for their Web site.
Demonstrating the depth that is matched by few, if any, Bay Area PR firms, The Placemaking Group then launched a comprehensive public relations campaign. Additionally, the firm redesigned and produced a Web site that projects a polished look appealing to C-level executives.
The branding, the new look and the PR campaign resulted in:
- Coverage by top-tier IT, general business and investor-centered news outlets
- Recognition by key industry analysts
- A dramatic increase in Web site visits and telephone inquiries
