OAKLAND, Calif., April 27, 2009 — Placemaking Group, a San Francisco Bay Area PR and marketing communication firm with expertise in creating branding and marketing programs for cities and towns has added new projects for the California cities of Carlsbad and Benicia. In addition, it has added DeYoe Wealth Management, a Berkeley, CA based firm, and Orinda Academy, an independent, non-profit, co-educational day school for grades seven to twelve to its client roster. Placemaking Group is known for its broad range of skills and its ability to successfully create and execute plans using marketing, advertising and PR.
“We are excited for the opportunity to continue working with a wide range of clients, each client brings a new challenge which we look forward to tackling,” says Dennis Erokan, Placemaking Group president.
The City of Benicia has retained Placemaking Group to collaborate on the creation of a multi-faceted web site for its tourism initiative. The project includes a new web site design and a user-friendly interface. The firm worked with Benicia in 2008 when it redesigned the city’s logo.
The project with the city of Carlsbad is in conjunction with consulting firm Applied Development Economics of Walnut Creek, CA to produce a marketing plan for business recruitment of targeted economic development projects.
Also added to Placemaking Group’s client list are public relations programs for DeYoe Wealth Management and Orinda Academy. Placemaking Group team members will implement programs to raise the profiles and expand the reach of both organizations by providing public relations services and targeted publicity programs including a social media element.
