San Francisco Bay Area Marketing Communications Firm, Placemaking Group Announces New Client Wins

OAKLAND, Calif., June 20, 2008 —Placemaking Group, a San Francisco Bay Area marketing communications firm with expertise in creating integrated marketing solutions for cities, towns, destinations, businesses and organizations, added two municipalities and a private business to its client list.
The Oakland-based firm added the town of Danville, in San Francisco’s East Bay and the central coast city of Atascadero, Calif.
The Placemaking Group also added Independent Floor Testing & Inspection, Inc., (IFTI) a Concord, Calif. company, that provides a comprehensive floor-testing analysis for commercial and residential projects during pre-and post- construction.
The city of Atascadero also retained Placemaking Group, in conjunction with consulting firm Applied Development Economics of Walnut Creek, to conduct market research, develop its web site, build community consensus, and produce an economic development plan.
The town of Danville contracted with Placemaking Group for a marketing plan promoting its downtown shopping area.
For IFTI, the firm will work on a web site re-design and a marketing communications program including advertising and email marketing.
